Demus SpA has obtained the environmental certification ISO 14001:2004

Last January Demus S.p.A. has obtained an ISO 14001:2004 certification from Det Norske Veritas for its environmental management system, thus confirming its commitment to Total Quality. Along with Quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, this result marks a further step forward in the activity of the company since it guarantees its capability of managing production processes aiming at a continuous improvement in its performances while fully respecting the environmental norms.

Environment and territory are a common good and it is therefore increasingly important to unite the culture of product and process quality with the preservation of the environment, particularly through the commitment to preventing the most significant environmental impacts of industrial activities.

We wish our Environmental Management System will make everyone – employees and collaborators, clients and suppliers – adopt an increasingly environmental friendly behaviour in order to preserve our general welfare.

Not only does such choice allow the company to improve internally, but it will also influence the quality of the surrounding territory: that is why we decided to undergo such a demanding exam and we have finally succeeded.
